About us

1989 – The début of Pride

Present is rooted in Pride, a company born thanks to the entrepreneurial intuition of engineer Antonio Giugliano in 1989. During its first ten years, the company establishes itself as one of the main players in the Italian ICT sector.

The headquarters are in Milan, but offices are opened also in Rome, Naples, and Padua to guarantee the necessary territorial coverage, offering both consulting services and system integrations.

Solutions range from OSS (Operation Support Systems) and BSS (Business Support Systems) to Application Management and System Management for fixed and mobile operators and network providers, as well as VAS (Value Added Services) for fixed and mobile networks and Quality Assurance (testing) services.

A new path since 2009

Present was born out of the experience of Pride in 2009, with a precise objective: to support the digital transformation of companies and Public Administrations through solutions enabling technological and business innovation. Over time, the structure grows and expands organically and also through a sequence of acquisitions, reaching a turnover of 105 million Euro in 2020 and exceeding 1,500 employees.

Birth

Present was born as a spin-off of Pride, a leading Italian ICT company acquired by Ericsson in that same year. Present immediately positions itself as one of the main players in the Italian ICT market, thanks to a wide-ranging structure involving over 500 people at its start-up and a turnover exceeding 30 million Euro already in the first year.

Growth

Acquisition of Global Value, a joint venture born out of the agreement between IBM and FIAT to create a reality focused on the provision of services for IT infrastructures and on the implementation of complex IT projects. The inclusion of Global Value makes a further leap in quality possible for Present, already established as a top-level system integrator.

Localisation

MedioSystem, already part of Gruppo IBM,is acquired. The inclusion of MedioSystem consolidates the Present group’s offer in Managed Services with mainframe environment System Management Services such as: Data Base Administration, DB/DC Management, Storage Management, SNA Management, File Transfer, Consulting on ISO27001, ISO22301 and Data Privacy.

Specialisation

Present expands: Majority shares are acquired in ComApp, a system integrator specialised in the design, implementation and in the management of Multimedia Contact Center, Omnichannel and Business Intelligence systems.

Expansion

Finsoftis acquired. This operation allows Present to strengthen its position in the IT System Integrator market and to expand its role in supporting the innovation of medium and large enterprises in the Italian economic setting.

Consolidation

Acquisition of the majority shares of Data Inform and its subsidiary Gewin, a consulting and system integration company e-Soft, an Italian company specialising in consulting and development in the field of application software and information management, is also acquired. The client base is increased, and the skills of the Enterprise Applications & Integration division are expanded.
